Angela Nahl is not the average doctor you find in U.S. She truely cares for her patients and treats you like a patient and a person; never as a customer. Her ethics are second to none and I knew when she explained to my wife why it was a bad idea to get LASIK on her eyes. I got mine operated by her and I have recommeded her to my friends who are also very happy with the results and attention she gives. Since my LASIK I enjoy excellent vision that lets me perform all my outdoors activities wihtout cumbersome glasses.p.s. For many months I had been tempted nightly by a billboard advertising LASIK on my way home. When I finally started my own search for a surgeon I used the web to find three in southern California that I would go and speak with... I wanted to get a second opinion, so I went to Dr. Nahl's office. She presented extensive information on laser eye surgery, even pointing out where the underlying assumptions are open to debate. I never heard her say "you're a great candidate" or imply that any procedure was a slam dunk...
